Briefing on disappearances

At lunch, MPs were given a briefing by Suhakam and Caged on the disappearances of Amri and Raymond Koh. Dato Mah of Suhakam and the family of Raymond Koh attended the briefing. The deputy minister of Home Affairs also attended the briefing.
In reply to the issue, he says that the home ministry has yet to officially receive a copy of the report from Suhakam and as such the ministry has yet to read it. That being the case he has no comment at this stage. The report was published and available for public download since 3rd April.
After the briefing, I took the visitors to visit the Speaker. My officers and interns will help Suhakam to distribute the hard copy of the report to all MPs tomorrow.
