Good morning. Busy day ahead. I had a late lunch meeting with visitors from China yesterday. Then a policy meeting last night. Today, I have two meetings with constituents and we will also do a farewell lunch for Dhinaa and the interns Eun and Joyce. Then after work, I will drop by my neighbour’s for a Christmas party before going to the Star Wars Fan Club movie event.
Today is officially the last day of work for my office. Monday 23rd December (next week), we will close our office to the public and reopen in 2020.
However, my officers will still be working a few extra days to finalise accounts, organise the files, fix my January appointments. My officers Paul Mae and Alethea will be dropping by the Norwegian Embassy for a meeting too next week.
