Community Update!

Hey everyone, Ivan here! As the Community Officer of P104, I will be giving an update on the community projects.

In the morning, one of our volunteers, Mr. Ho together with Bala, our intern, went for a meeting at Tabika Nur Cahaya. The purpose of the meeting was to find a way to solve the flooding issue which has plague the Tabika in the recent months. Representatives from related agencies were also present during the meeting. Our office will be working together with these agencies to see how this issue can be resolved. As seen in the photos, due to the blockage of the drain, rainwater cannot flow out and this has caused a flood at the back of the Tabika. The flooding has caused difficulty for the children to access the toilet. Parents and teachers are very worried about the safety and the well-being of the children.

I, on the other hand, went for a site visit to Pangsapuri Garnet to review the work done last year. The members of the JMB brought me around the area and we had short discussions. The area is well-kept and the JMB is very organized as well. Fitri, the councilor in-charge of the area, was also present during the site visit.
