Today my staff and interns are at the Pusat Sains Negara with 40 students from Desa Mentari. This is the second field trip we have organised for kids in Desa Mentari.
The 40 students attend Sister Stella’s Tuition Center, a not for profit community-based education center at Block 2. Our office works closely with Sister Stella and we assist them with their needs when we can.
Sister Stella encourages her ex students to come back to teach and seeing them at the Science center today proves how effective this kind of community-based learning is. The children were very well behaved and some even took notes. The day ended with fun and games by the pool.
