The 60th Day of This Sitting

Good morning from Parliament. I had an 8.30 am meeting with two executives from the BowerGroupAsia. After the breakfast meeting, I went in to the hall and had a chat with several MPs, including the MITI minister Darrel. Darrel has been asked to answer a question on behalf of the environment minister this morning, since the minister has a family emergency.
At 10 am, the Deputy Speaker Nga Kor Ming opened the session by acknowledging that this is the 60th day of our sitting this year, on the 60th year of the Malaysian Parliament. He also quoted passages from the Quoran and also Confucius.
