Yesterday we had our office end of year party at my home. Simple home cooked food and home made mulled wine. The most pleasant surprise of the night was the depth of musical and dance talents of my staff, interns and volunteers.
We all knew Abigail could really sing but Wyhow, Seng Kiat, Kevin and Sean Ferdinand also showed awesome singing skills. On piano duty were Kevin and Eugene. On guitars were Seng Kiat and Sean. Enthusiastic back up singers were Melody, Jarrat, WWW, Ivan, Cassandra, Eugene, Megan and Jia Hui. Tina Lai showed us how professional hip hop dance is done! We must have sang around 20 songs; Christmas, folk, Chinese, pop and even a bit of rap. We also said goodbye to our super intern Megan Kwai, who completed her third tour of duty with our office! We wish her the very best in her future endeavours.
This morning we did our office year end trip to Gua Tempurung for a caving adventure. Sam did really well and was picked by the guide to assist him. We had 2 awesome hours of walking, crawling and sliding. After that we went to Lawan Kuda and ate a big lunch and then drove back to KL.
The event brings the year officially to an end for the P104 Parliament Kelana Jaya office. We close office from tomorrow since it is the Winter Solstice and will only reopen office on 2nd January 2018!
