Good morning. It is now day 4 of my Welfare Month program and the flow of applicants is constant. Just to update all, as of close of office at 5pm yesterday, we have had 159 applicants. We are averaging 60 applications a day. My staff and interns are doing a great job.
Some good news; my close friend of who went with me on a trekking expidition to Pakistan and Afghanistan some 20 years ago, has decided to chip in RM10,000 of his own money to the Welfare Month program. He also contributed the same amount 2 years ago to refurbish a kindergarten in Glenmarie estate. He wants to remain anonymous. His contribution will help around 50 families.
